The existing kitchen featured dark espresso-stained cabinetry throughout, green marble countertops, and large-format beige stone tile flooring. While spacious and well-equipped with professional appliances including a double wall oven and integrated refrigerator, the overall palette felt heavy and dated — the dark cabinetry absorbed light and made the generous space feel smaller and disconnected from the home's natural surroundings. A curved island with green marble countertop added an outdated detail that further dated the interior. The redesigned kitchen introduces warm natural oak flat-panel cabinetry paired with bold matte black upper volumes — a striking two-tone contrast that feels both warm and architectural. A large central island with black stone countertops anchors the space, flanked by sculptural wood pendant lights. A custom wine display tower, integrated wine cooler, illuminated glass display cabinets, and warm LED under-cabinet and toe-kick lighting complete a kitchen designed equally for cooking and entertaining.
